Our objective is to inspire young black boys as we expose them to the ever-changing and growing field of coding. We know that just a little exposure to the future goes the long way to helping them become the digital innovators of tomorrow. We achieve this by teaching computer literacy and. The lesson learnt in our program will set our participants on an educational path to a career in the technology field. We help black boys unlock the code to secure their future.
Mission & Vision
In order to successfully navigate the path forward, we must start with a solid foundation. At the black code, we help provide that solid foundation for our participants to have a chance at becoming tomorrow, digital innovators. This is achieved through a fun, step-by-step interactive program that teaches detailed literacy and computer familiarity.

We do this by providing them with the tools and guidance to help them navigate the new digital world. The workshops and after school programming we offer to help our boys become the leaders of tomorrow in an ever-evolving technologically-based world.
Extended Learning in Computer Coding.
When it comes to the world of coding there is a substantially wide gap between blacks participating in the digital area and other races. This usually is due to the lack of technology being readily available in the home. Our workshops expose young black boys to industry role models that volunteer their time to share their knowledge and experiences they have with them. All the while showing them that a career in coding and computer sciences is achievable, not an abstract concept.
